FISHING THE ZANE
GREY/PINAS REEF FOR MARLIN, SAILFISH & DORADO Pinas Bay is home to Tropic Star Lodge
but we don't stay at the lodge on this trip. Instead,
we stay on IGFA Rep. John Richardson's mothership, the
Mama Nido, and fish off his 43' Merritt sportfisher for
a combination of sailfish, black and blue marlin and lots
of dorado. We'll also visit the Inter-American Tropical
Tuna Commission (IATTC) Lab in Achotines, Panama to learn
a bit about the archival tagging of yellow fin tuna with
Kurt Schaeffer.
